I'm so happy I found Carrboro Plumbing! They installed a new dishwasher for me, which involved changing where the water was piped through from the crawlspace. They went above and beyond and also installed a new water shutoff valve in the kitchen, filled a hole that had allowed mice to get in under the dishwasher cabinet, and hauled away the old dishwasher, all at a reasonable price. I was also really impressed that they proactively communicated in their appointment confirmation email how you could request they wear a mask while working indoors. As someone who still needs to avoid catching covid, I always feel awkward asking workers to mask in my home, and have sometimes had bad experiences when bringing it up, but Carrboro Plumbing was incredibly kind and conscientious about it. Thank you so much for making your service accessible to all!

Best plumbing service I've ever worked with. They're very responsive, fairly priced, and always friendly. They're also great about finding ways to work emergency calls in early whenever their schedule allows!

Linda was absolutely amazing! We got back into town late last night and our hot water heater was beeping and not working. I called around to a bunch of plumbers early this morning to see if someone could come out. Linda asked me more about what was happening and suggested a trick that I could do on my own. She even texted me the details. It worked!!! If it wasn't for Linda, we would be without hot water for 4 days in this freezing weather!!! Thank you!!!!

I had carrboro plumbing put in a shower for me and I can highly recommend them. They did the plumbing, fixtures and installed the shower insert (the door was done by Rice). I also got three quotes from some national chains and carrboro plumbing was: easier to work with, better communication, more affordable, less pushy, and let me decide what materials I wanted (all the national chains were pushing me to use their vinyl inserts). They emailed me an initial general quote over email (based on pictures I sent) whereas the national chains made me sit around and listen to 2 hour long presentations (they won't give you even a ballpark quote without the in-person presentation). All the national chains were incredibly expensive and used that pushy sales approach like "we'll cut off $3k if you sign the contract tonight" bs, whereas carrboro plumbing was very straightforward in their pricing approach (here's an initial range over email, if you like this we'll come over for 10-15 minutes and give you a fuller quote). The guys who installed it seemed very knowledgeable. It's been in use now for 6 months without any problems. I'd use them again.

I contacted Carrboro Plumbing for my 80 year old mom. She had a leaking water heater that needed replacing. Was easy to make an appointment, they communicated well and were on time. At first the two men that showed up were very nice, helpful and ready to get the job done. It was a tight fit into a closet in my mom's bathroom. They did inform us they would need to remove some of the door molding to get the water heater in. But they would replace it back the best they could. The job ended up taking about 6 hours with 4 men eventually. The water heater was installed and works fine. The mess left by the 4 men proved to ruin the good work they did do. The walls around the closet were left with black finger print marks and scuffs. The floor in her bathroom around the closet was left the same way. The closet door frame was barely put back together. And most parts of the framing was just left off. I cleaned the walls with a Mr Clean sponge,something they could carry, and my 80 year old mom cleaned her own floor before I got there. I repaired the door frame. The door does not close properly any more. This was a $1250 job. Will not be using Carrboro Plumbing again. Update:The owners response was inaccurate. The invoice was not reduced. We were told via email the charge was $1250, but if we felt we should only pay $1200 that was fine. I emailed the company about the issues with pictures and never received a response. They never offered to rectify the damage they did. Positive now I would never use them again. Very unprofessional.

Chris and his team recently completed a large project for us. We unfortunately inherited a badly laid sewer line when we bought our house, and it had to be replaced. I can't say enough about how great it was to trust this to Carrboro Plumbing, and know that the work would be done right. Chris made a plan that factored in all potential complications, including having the line cross a creek in our front yard. They worked steadily, keeping us informed at all times of their progress. A few weeks after completion, we found out that we had a leak in our water main. This was probably not directly related to the sewer line work, but Chris chose to take care of it at no charge. This is the company you want for your plumbing needs. You won't find better. Thanks Carrboro Plumbing!

The first time that I used Carrboro Plumbing was when they were the only plumbers to come out on a pouring Sunday evening to replace my water heater that had busted and was leaking. They dragged a new water heater though the mud, in the dark, in the heavy rain. Through the years they have fixed all of my plumbing issues with excellence, intelligence, and politeness. They have been on time and clean up nicely. When unforeseen problems have come up they have calmly found solutions and finished the job. Recently Carrboro Plumbing fixed a water pressure issue that 3 plumbing companies and the County of Chatham could not diagnose or make better. I now have the best pressure I have ever had in the 15 years that I have lived in my house.Before that it was pathetic. They also found 2 leaks that were raising my water bill and stopped septic water that had been backing up in 2 sinks from poorly placed pipes. I have never regretted calling or being dissatisfied with Carrboro Plumbing. I recommend them without reservation.

Carrboro plumbing went above and beyond in installing an outdoor fire pit connected with natural gas. They helped with the whole process, even through inspection. All workers were professional and point people were very responsive. The work was quality and timely. Highly recommend
